Bardia National Park – 3 Nights, 4 Days Tour for experiencing many wild species, including the rare the endangered flora and fauna. The Bardia National Park in the Western Terai of Nepal is the largest and least encroached upon wilderness in the Terai and preserves a variety of natural and cultural resources. The National Park which also includes the Babai River Valley is home to many wild species, including the rare the endangered flora and fauna including such rare and endangered species like tiger, the rhinoceros, wild elephant, swamp deer, black rabbit, the gharial crocodile and Gangetic dolphin. The Park provides a number of well maintained domestic elephants, hence it’s also famous for elephant safari. The Elephant Safari inside the jungle provide both fun and safety – on an Elephant Safari, you will get to enjoy the company of tall grass, forests, and wild animals.
The Bardia National Park was declared a wildlife reserve in 1976 and a national park in 1988. Among the rare wild animals include rhinoceros, Wild elephants, The Royal Bengal Tiger, Swamp deer, Black buck, Gharial Crocodile, and Gangetic Dolphins. Just imagine the thrill and adventure of following the big cats in their own original habitat!

Itinerary
DAY 01: Arrival at Bardia
Upon your arrival in Bardia, you will be transferred to your cottage room inside the National Park. There will be a briefing about the program at the National Park. In the evening, village tour to an ethnic Tharu village nearby, believed to be original inhabitants of the local jungle area. Also visit to crocodile breeding center and the Tharu Museum. (This day’s programme will be arranged according to your arrival time).
DAY 02: Full Day Activities in Bardia National Park including Jungle Walk
After breakfast we embark for a Jungle Drive deep into the woods. The Bardia jungle is home to a number of wild animals including Asian Elephant, Great One Horn Rhinoceros, Spotted Deer or Chital, Hog Deer, Barking Deer, Samber, Swamp Deer or Barasingha, Nilgai, Black Buck, Wild Boar, Royal Bengal Tiger, Leopard, Golden Jackal, and Striped Hyena, etc. Visit to crocodile breeding center and the Tharu Museum. There are also towers (Machan) at different places where you can wait for the unsuspecting wild-lives to pass by so that you may shoot them (of course with your camera!). Our experienced nature guide would help you in tracking the wild life. Overnight at the National Park.
DAY 03: Full Day Activities in Bardia National Park including Jungle Safari & Relax
We have another full day for our wildlife experience. An interesting feature of today’s activities is the elephant safari into the deep & dense jungle. Apart from the fun, another benefit of elephant ride into the jungle is that there is a better chance of seeing wild animals, since the wild animals are less scared when you’re on the top of their mammoth friend. Moreover, riding the elephant also saves you from any potential attacks by the wild animals. The elephants usually head northwest and you may see deer, langur monkeys, rhinos and boar. In the evening, watch the cultural program and Western Nepal Tharu dance organized by the villagers. Overnight at the National Park.
DAY 04: Morning Jungle Walk and Departure
After breakfast, we go for a jungle walk for bird watching. Since it’s our departure day today from Bardia, we will get back to the resort before 11:45 am. Then we will have our lunch and depart for onward destination.
